The June Coastal Commission meeting took place in Morro Bay on June 12-14. The meeting featured an informational update on the Del Mar Bluffs Stabilization Project, the approval of a new 1.25 mile segment of the California Coastal Trail in Morro Bay and the resolution of a Coastal Act violation blocking public access in Big Sur. The meeting resulted in one vote chart. Three controversial items were postponed from the agenda and are expected to return in the coming months: Gladstone's Restaurant's use of a public parking lot in Pacific Palisades, the increase in SpaceX launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base and the Ocean Beach armoring project in San Francisco.
